Note 854

If one, having considered all known and thinkable relations between individual molecules, is  not  satisfied with the demonstrable possibilities, then one can irrefutably assert that in Life there is a still unknown model-free relational system in which the offered performances correspond with the demanded and in living beings observed ones. We are convinced that this inter-molecular system exists, but in no way model-free [i.e. solely as a model], but [really exists] precisely with the phenomenon of true chemical bonding among the now intra-molecular partners. Now, all particulars of relationship become clear and straightforwardly evident, and one also has no difficulties in putting into their proper place for instance the historical components, which in the system-view would be possible only with phantastic assumptions. Outside our Unimol solution it may in possibly special systems be about unfounded and undemonstrated speculations, and not about the attempt to obtain a scientific treatment of the relevant questions.
