A definition of an accident, with which we are presently dealing, such as  (white) is a color,  or (see below)  (whiteness) is a color,  attempts as it were to disregard the carrier (substrate, subject), for in  ' (is) a color '  no carrier is mentioned, and therefore is not a complete definition, because a carrier anyway, and, as regards propria, the proper carrier, should always appear in the definition (of the accident). In fact, the subject (carrier) should be explicitly mentioned.
