In fact, already propria belong to the phenotypical domain , while, however, still belonging to the carrier (of accidents), because they belong to the (phenotypical part of the) Essence. Some propria, however, such as the ability to laugh with respect to human nature, can be interpreted as accidents (and thus not belonging to the carrier, but carried by it), because they can get lost (as a result of some disease) without entailing the demise of the being itself.
