To take a fictitious example :

X_n+1 = 3X_n² + 5X_n + 17  [Dynamical law]  IS  X_n+1 = AX_n² + 5X_n + 17  [Genus], where  A  is subsequently being determined as being equal to 3  [Difference].
That is, the  genus  AX_n² + 5X_n + 17  is further determined by the  difference  3.
