So the proposition  ' Socrates is a human being '  is indeed not  a  per se   p r e d i c a t i o n  (because Socrates, as Socrates just happens to be a human being),  but the concept  ' human being '  ( = a given species)  s i g n i f i e s  per se,  and absolutely, the individuals, independently of particular fact and of the truth of contingent propositions.
